Meyercrest Arabians

“Meyercrest Arabians has been involved in racing Arabians since 2003. We have been breeding and showing Arabians for over 50 years, and still have our toe in the show world, but the majority of our breeding is for racing stock. One of the advantages of breeding these athletes is that if they are not at the top of their racing game, they can go on to success in other disciplines. We have had National Champions from our race-bred Arabians.” “We started in a partnership program which was grand fun and a great learning experience, and actually made a little money, too. After four years in our partnership we bought three

broodmares and started our program. Our first home bred, Born To Boogie MC (*Haffir El Rimal x Wikings Delyte), was Three-Year-Old Colt/Gelding of the Year. Our latest homebred, Hiab Al Zaman (Hilal Al Zaman x My Shelby Cobra), was the 2021 Darley Four-Year-Old Colt of the Year and Darley Champion Horse of the Year (pictured crossing the finish line at Pimlico on Preakness Day winning the $100,000 UAE President Cup race). He has been sold to the Middle East and will be shipping over in about a month to take on the rest of the world. Racing has been fantastically fun and profitable. A great combination!”
