The seventh edition of the AHO Breeders Championship and AHO World Cup, hosted by HRH Prince Abdul Aziz Al Saud, was held back at the Domaine de Chantilly, surely the most apt and elegant setting for the most beautiful horses in the world. This indescribably magical castle is the jewel in the crown of France’s royal heritage and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Chantilly lies only 24 miles north of Paris and apart from the castle is known best for its Chantilly cream and Chantilly lace. It is a beautiful place to visit in itself, still with some cobbled streets, street cafes, fine dining, and pretty decent hotels. But when you first set eyes on the castle itself, your breath is simply swept away.
