Aspen Creek Arabians is located in the High Desert of Central Oregon close to the Sisters mountains. Carla Thornton, owner, and manager of Aspen Creek has been involved with many breeds of horses since very young and chose the Arabian breed for its timeless beauty, amazing disposition, and a purity in bloodlines that can be traced further than any other breed.

Our philosophy is to breed responsibly and preserve type.  Every foal is a piece of history and every breeding choice will impact where the breed goes. We breed solely CA and SCID free.

At Aspen Creek, we breed some of the most sought-after strains of Polish and Russian Arabians for Halter and Performance. Our horses consist of a balanced, tall body, beautiful free movement with the classic Arabian head and a short face with large wide expressive eyes.  Our collection of broodmares epitomize these characteristics with lines of Khadraj NA, Padron, Bask, Fame VF, Marwan Al Shaqab, Versace, Valentino, Psytadel, and Ali Jamaal.
